Ash Wednesday will be a full day at Easthampton Congregational Church. From 12 noon to 12:45 p.m., Rev. Sherry (and a Deacon) will be on the front steps of our church to provide Ashes for anyone who would like to come by. This is not a worship service, but rather a “pop-up” Ashes distribution with a blessing. Then at 1:15 p.m. Sherry and Sue Hodnicki will provide an Ash Wednesday service at Care One in Holyoke. Our ECC Ash Wednesday worship service, complete with sermon, special music, and the distribution of Ashes, will be at 7 p.m. Please plan to join for the contemplative and moving service.
